Plymouth Fine Arts Council Goal

PFAC Goals

 

The Plymouth Fine Arts Council (PFAC) is a non-profit organization that affiliates with the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Dept.  Its mission is to promote awareness and appreciation of visual, musical, literary and theater arts. 

Goals to this end are to:Ice Center Mural

  • Develop and promote artistic learning experiences;
  • Support local artists in their creative endeavors;
  • Provide creative/artistic viewing opportunities;
  • Encourage participation by all residents and businesses in community arts programs. 

In response to these goals, PFAC provides partial funding to both the Plymouth Concert Band and the Plymouth Community Theatre.

PFAC facilitates juried art exhibits in the Plymouth Creek Center and City Hall featuring a different artist each month.  If you’re an adult artist, interested in exhibiting your art in this program, call Karol at (763) 509-5223.

The arts council also sponsors the annual springtime Primavera celebration of the arts, including a juried art show with musical and dramatic entertainment plus a Poetry Slam.
