PFAC Goals

The Plymouth Fine Arts Council started in 1995 through the effort of the City of Plymouth Park and Recreation Department. A group of citizens with a common interest in visual and performing arts came together as “Plymouth Community Arts”.

The Plymouth Fine Arts Council incorporated as a non-profit organization 501 (c)(3) in 1997 anJazz Bandd receives funding from the city of Plymouth.
The PFAC board oversees dispersal of funds to community art organizations and special projects.

Arts organizations that cooperate with PFAC to serve the community are the Plymouth Concert Band and the Plymouth Community Theater. Development grants from the State Arts Board have enriched the efforts of these organizations. Interested individuals and businesses can be involved with Arts in Plymouth by becoming a “Friend of the Arts” member.
