PFAC Goals

 

Plymouth Fine Arts Council

The Plymouth Fine Arts Council (PFAC) is a non-profit organizationthat affiliates with the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Dept.  Its mission is to promote awareness and appreciation of visual, musical,literary and theater arts.  PFAC provides partial funding to both the Plymouth Concert Band and the Plymouth Community Theatre.

 

Plymouth Concert Band

The 60-member community band rehearses on Monday nights and is made up of Plymouth area adults seeking a high quality outlet for their musical talents.  It was formed in 1998 in partnership with the Plymouth Fine Arts Council and the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department, with additional support provided by its members, local businesses and area residents.  Its mission is to serve the cultural needs of the community through presentation of a variety of free concerts and musical events.

Plymouth Community Theatre

Since its formation in 2003, the Plymouth Community Theatre (PCT) has produced six successful shows, including GODSPELL and The Sound of Music.

Its mission is to serve our community by providing a positive theatrical experience for people of all ages.  By facilitating excellent productions, they provide opportunities for participation in all areas of theatre arts.
