We’ve partnered with the City of Plymouth to coordinate monthly displays with area artists at the Plymouth Community Center Art Gallery. The art gallery is on the first floor of the Plymouth Community Center near the Event Wing doors and Fieldhouse entrance.
You can apply to show your art at the Plymouth Community Center Art Gallery by clicking the link below. We are currently accepting applications for 2027. We have several standing exhibitions so there are a limited number of available exhibit slots each year. We (the Plymouth Arts Council and City of Plymouth) do our best to curate an entire season of gallery exhibits that feature quality art and attract a broad audience.

Artist Statement
I don’t believe in art for art’s sake. I want to use art to draw attention to causes that are important to me. I have been partnering with Clean Water Action - Minnesota since 2024. This collaborationhas enabled us to increase public awareness of the social and political importance of water, particularly at a time of climate crisis.
In January 2026 I felt compelled to support an organization that helped protect the rights of Minnesota’s immigrant and refugee residents. The International Institute of Minnesota was an obvious choice because it provides education, training, and legal support.
100% of proceeds from this show will be donated to these two organizations, which are doing vital work to make Minnesota a happier, healthier, safer, and more vibrant place to live.
The primary subject of my art work is water in all its forms. I started making waterscapes using photography, but I soon found that photography alone could not depict all the aspects of water that I found fascinating and beautiful. So I started to paint lake scapes and create collages. I now describe my process like this: I use photography to do what I cannot do with painting; I use paintingto do what I cannot do with photography; and I use collage to do what I cannot do with either.
